More than £600 raised for local community
In a display of generosity and community spirit, pupils from Abbeywood School demonstrated the power of teamwork and compassion through their involvement in various fundraising events.
Over the past year, philanthropists have dedicated time to organising and hosting a series of end of term fairs to raise money for charity with the help of their guests, parents and carers. The stalls varied, with each form making items to sell, and as a result, they raised more than £600 for The Full Life Church food bank.
The donations were gratefully received, and the team at the charity were immensely proud of the pupils for their exceptional efforts to contribute to the local community.
The collaboration and skills displayed throughout this project were exemplary. Each individual brought their unique strengths to the table, contributing to the overall success of the fairs. From brainstorming ideas to executing plans and managing resources, teamwork and meticulous organisation were evident at every stage.
What an inspiring story! Well done, everyone.
