Learning More About ADHD
Develop your understanding of supporting a child with ADHD. The workshop aims to provide professionals with a toolkit of expert knowledge which can be put into practice in your role. The day will cover key topics including what is ADHD, diagnostic criteria, classroom strategies, therapeutic approaches and working with parents.
Learning More About Autism
Develop your understanding of how you can create a successful environment for children and young people with autism and other SEN. The session will cover topics such as communication, sensory processing and anxiety, strategies that promote social understanding, positive interaction and participation in school life, realistic autism-friendly environments, identifying individual qualities and personalised curriculum.
Child & Adolescent Mental Health
This workshop aims to further equip professionals with a toolkit of support strategies covering the key issues relating to child and adolescent mental health. The course will cover home and family, education and personal development, developing risk assessments and Education, Health & Care (EHC) Plans.
