Message from the Head Teacher

Hall Cliffe Primary School offers a unique and inspirational environment that makes a positive difference to the lives of pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health difficulties. These difficulties include Attention Deficit Disorder, Autistic Spectrum Disorder, Attachment Difficulties and speech, language and communication difficulties. Our small, calm, nurturing environment provides pupils with the opportunities to thrive educationally, socially and behaviourally.

Our family orientated school provides a safe space for pupils to develop a range of skills that provide a strong foundation for adulthood. We foster and nurture resilience and teach the skills children need to manage their own emotions and self-regulate their behaviour. Our highly trained specialist staff offer high levels of support and encourage pupils to become independent, productive members of society.

We pride ourselves on being a friendly and inclusive school that values and celebrates the differences of all of our children and their families. We strive to engage our children in learning in a fun and interactive way to ensure all achieve the best possible outcomes. Our exciting curriculum is individualised to meet the needs and learning styles of each pupil. In addition to the provision of the full national curriculum, which includes intervention programmes where appropriate, we also offer our ‘Curriculum Around the Pupil’. This daily session provides pupils with opportunities to develop skills and talents in areas such as cooking, computing, arts and craft, gardening and sport.

We would be delighted to welcome you to the school to see for yourself our very special and inspirational environment and for you to meet our equally inspirational staff and pupils.
