We want to support you and your family during your child’s time with us by keeping in close and regular contact throughout the school year.
As a parent or carer at our school we are able to offer you access to a wide range of advice and support. From events to podcasts and everything else inbetween we are constantly adding to the resources on offer.
We strive to achieve an exceptional teaching and learning environment where our pupils are able to achieve their personalised goals.
Highlights from the most recent Ofsted report includes:
“Students enter the school with standards which are mostly well below those expected for their age. They make rapid progress towards nationally expected standards.”
“Students make outstanding progress in the management of their behaviour, overcoming any barriers to achievement.”
“The school provides a safe environment for learning because leaders and managers implement rigorous arrangements for safeguarding students.
“All staff are fully informed about students’ individual strengths and learning needs due to exemplary tutor group arrangements. As a result, the cooperative work of teachers, teaching assistants and therapists has a strong impact on students’ achievement.”
“Senior leaders’ ambitions for students’ achievement are shared by all staff, who motivate students to have high expectations of themselves.”
We have an extensive list of policies and procedures in place at our school to ensure your child is given the best possible experience with us, some of which are listed below.
In the last academic year (17/18) the school received no formal complaints.
It’s never been more important to help keep your children safe online.
