Year 6 pupils from Chilworth House School recently enjoyed taking part in a food technology lesson as part of their planned transition to Chilworth House Upper School. The two schools have been working together to ensure the transition from primary to secondary runs smoothly for pupils by allowing them to access subjects at the Arts and Vocational Centre.
The budding chefs cooked up a storm as they made pizzas with their choice of toppings, learning how to operate an oven and of course took part in the all-important task of tasting their creations.
The pupils again thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to explore more classes at the Upper School and look forward to more sessions.
In case you missed it, find out what they got up to in Science in another transition session here.
