Orange Class from Avon Park School has been visiting the Brandon Marshes as part of their community project studying birds.

The budding zoologists conducted a bird survey to answer a geographical investigation: where is the highest bird population, Forest School or Brandon Marsh? During the visits over two weeks, pupils witnessed different species of birds and wildlife whilst enjoying the environment and having plenty of fun along the way.

The experience was extremely positive and pupils were commended on their behaviour and friendliness to members of the public.

Well done to Orange Class – great twitching! (we’ve been made to believe that this is an inside joke).
